Revolver Hard Rolling Aluminum Tonneau Cover
We engineered the X4s to solve the core challenge truck owners face: protecting cargo without sacrificing bed access. This hard rolling tonneau combines aircraft-grade aluminum slats with a patented spiral track system that retracts the cover completely behind the cab in under 15 seconds.
Every panel locks at the rails with our integrated clamp system—no exposed latches, no fumbling in the rain. The powder-coated finish resists UV damage and won't fade after years of sun exposure. Installation takes 20 minutes with basic hand tools; the rail clamps slide into your truck's stake pocket holes without drilling a single hole in your bed.
Core specs & construction details

Aluminum Construction & Weather Sealing
The X4s uses extruded 6061-T6 aluminum for every slat—the same alloy spec’d for aircraft components and marine environments. Each slat measures 1.5 inches thick with internal ribbing that distributes impact force across the panel width. We’ve tested them under hail simulation and highway debris strikes; the aluminum dents far less than composite alternatives and never cracks like fiberglass.
Weather sealing runs continuous along both side rails and the bulkhead edge. The EPDM rubber gasket compresses when you lock the cover, forming a seal tight enough to pass through automatic car washes without leaking. Drain channels at the rail base route water toward the tailgate, keeping pooled moisture away from your cargo.

Retractable Design & Bed Access
The spiral track mechanism is what separates a true hard rolling tonneau from older tri-fold or hinged designs. As you roll the cover open, each slat feeds into a canister mounted behind the cab. The entire assembly retracts in one motion—you’re not lifting panels, flipping sections, or removing anything from the truck.
Full retraction gives you complete access to the bed floor. Haul lumber, load a motorcycle, drop in a toolbox—the cover stays out of the way until you need it again. The canister profile measures 12 inches wide and sits 3 inches above the bed rails, low enough that most camper shells and bed racks clear it without modification.
Locking System & Cargo Security
We integrated the lock mechanism directly into the side rails rather than using external latches. When you close the cover, rotating the tailgate handle engages stainless steel pins that clamp into slots along both rails. The cover can’t be pried up from the sides or lifted at the tailgate—the pins lock it at four points simultaneously.
You can also lock the cover at any partially open position. If you’re hauling tall cargo that doesn’t need the full bed width, roll the cover halfway and engage the rail lock to secure the front half while leaving the rear exposed. The lock cylinders are keyed alike to your truck’s tailgate for single-key convenience.

Common questions about the Revolver hard rolling tonneau
Yes. The EPDM weather seals are designed to withstand touchless and soft-brush car washes when the cover is fully closed and locked. We recommend avoiding high-pressure wash bays that aim directly at the canister seam, as extreme pressure can force water past the gasket.
No drilling is required. The X4s uses clamp brackets that drop into your truck's factory stake pocket holes and secure with hex bolts from underneath. Installation is completely reversible and leaves no permanent holes or adhesive residue.
The aluminum slats support up to 500 pounds of distributed load when the cover is closed and locked. This means you can walk on it to reach roof racks or stack lightweight gear on top, but it's not rated for concentrated point loads like standing toolboxes.
The canister sits 12 inches behind the cab and extends 3 inches above the bed rails. Most under-bed fifth-wheel hitches clear this profile, but gooseneck hitches installed in the front bed section may require a low-profile canister kit available as an accessory.
Yes. The rail-lock system engages at any point along the bed length, so you can roll the cover halfway, three-quarters, or any position and lock it in place. This is useful when hauling tall cargo in the rear of the bed while keeping the front section secure.
We provide a lifetime warranty on the aluminum slats and rail components against defects in materials and workmanship. Weather seals, gaskets, and hardware are covered for five years. The warranty is transferable if you sell your truck.
The X4s is compatible with most under-bed toolboxes and side-mount storage systems since it mounts to the top of the bed rails. Crossbed toolboxes installed directly behind the cab will interfere with the retracted canister—you'll need to choose one or the other for that location.
